MSU construction

CDA, not to worry. You are the undisputed King of eGriz posters. So, one thing got by you. You know who Dan Gable is. A record of 181-1 through high school and college, the one loss in college. Of that loss, Gable said, "...then I got good." Well, eGrizzers, take notice. 8-) :thumb:

I just want to say thank you for your kind words during this trying time. The thoughts and well wishes will get me through this in time, but the sharp sting of missing that the Bobcats have a statue of Sonny Holland (I laugh every time I type it) is fresh. The missed opportunities feel like not realizing Mila Kunis was hitting on me at the Rainbow Room in 2008.

I consider myself more of an artist over here. I just can't jump into any 'ole shit show. There needs to be some merit, or I'll risk diluting my work.

I mean, all joking and trolling aside, y'all really made a statue of Sonny Holland. That's for real. I would've bet my house that SACCAT was joking about it. It's not like he was an awful coach or anything, but a statue? Good god, you guys have every opportunity to get over the hump, but the program has to stop shooting itself in the scrotum at some point.

I guess I started this thread, and I'm certainly not a cat hater having gone to both schools (UM degree), but to me it isn't a matter of trolling. Cat fans are on this board all the time so where are you now? ABC, SACCAT, Poorgriz, others - I mean come on. Do you really find this building attractive. Do you really buy into a statue of Sonny Holland? Certainly the space is needed and that was never my issue. But were the design committee and Cruzado required to take LSD before the approval meeting? I mean it looks like a low budget Shitt's Creek motel remodel. I know they say "a can of paint and a tube of caulk, make carpenters out of those who aren't" but we can't blame the trade workers here. Do Cat fans really think this building design has any merit on overall campus design. I'd sure like to hear your opinions.

We make fun of them, but they wouldn’t bronze Earle. Pretty sure he had a dismal record. It can’t be Kramer because I think he went 0-fer once or twice. Jokester SACCAT said Holland earlier, but that can’t be it because he barely coached there, and did so with mediocrity at the DII level. Ash is my best guess. Backup guess is Choach (but they should fire the sculptor if so). Safety guess is an just anonymous “coach”.

They already know he will be the programs winningest coach and savior in the year 2040, when he will eventually record a career .630 winning % and move on to take the open HC job with the prestigious Carnegie Melon Drone Racing Team.
 
Haven't seen a MSU undergrad course catalog in a loooong time, but, by any chance, have they added a degree program, AD or BA, or minor option in Mythology? This Holland statue thing puzzles me, and others. Scat trolls, this would be an appropriate time to spew your expertise.
