MSN Sports picks Wentz to be No. 2 overall

He's great. He's horrible. NFL superstar material. CFL tops. Now, someone with an axe to grind could make note of those in each camp, record their posts and, come September, choose to stick it up the a** of those with contrarian views to their own. K-Y optional. I don't have a dog in this fight, so I'll sit back and see how he does. Good luck to him, though.

Pretty good rundown on Wentz as the draft approaches.

Honestly, these NFL Scouts and Draft Analysts have their head completely up their asses about Wentz. They are clueless!

If I were an NFL GM and/or Coach, I would take a long look at e-griz for the real line on him. Given the enormous depth of player evaluation experience here, I would personally value the opinion of our resident pundits over that of quacks like Mike Mayock, Todd McShay, etc. etc.

Mayock is the only one that gets it, McShay and Kiper are tools that couldnt find growlers knuckles in their own asses.

Wentz is the best QB in this draft and it isnt close he is the most well rounded athlete to come out at the QB position since......................I cant think of an NFL QB that has ALL the physical and mental attributes that Wentz does, he is unique. Maybe Rodgers but Wentz has him beat in size speed and arm strength.
I remember you talking about Wentz before Jensen was off campus. Something like the next NDSU qb was a much better athlete. It certainly holds true. The only concern I have is if he ends up in a sh!t pond like Cleveland... :egriz:

Exactly..how fucking lucky are the Bison to have had back to back QBs with that caliber....thats shit never happens. Unreal at this level. If they'd quit getting NFL QBs every other recruiting class they might lose a championship some year.

I hope its soon, I am truly interested to see how Fargo and that program would hold up through a couple down years....im guessing not well.

 Do you always get a woody discussing Wentz, or is it just since he suddenly is the next coming of Tom Brady?

Quite frankly, I'm pretty excited about the next 3 years in Bison QB land. That kid last year was a rock star in the making.

Yep. Gotta give Alpha props on this one. He was WAY ahead of everybody in singing Wentz's praises, while he was riding the pine behind Jensen.

A good article on the type of guy Wentz is...he seems like he'd be easy to root for in the NFL.

Best part of the article is where they talk about Wentz trying to save money for training birds so he was out trying to trap his own pigeons ha ha.

Watched the video and he said him and his brother wanted to make a trip out to Montana to do some elk hunting.

Gigantic bust in the NFL is my prediction. Unless they try to make him a pure pocket passer and take away his running. Then he'll be a Gary Kubiak type player.....best clipboard holder in the NFL.

If so he will have some stiff competition with Kellen Moore. Kellen held a mighty clipboard for Detroit before moving to dallas.

I like Wentz's chances more than anybody's to make it, but you can't ignore the fact that he had great talent surrounding him and played against inferior teams. That alone will make the transition to the NFL a steep one. I'm hoping for his benefit that Bradford plays a year and then Wentz can take over in his Sophmore year... I don't think he will have Andrew Luck type impact right away, but who knows reall... Hope he does well. Seems like a good humble kid and a leader. Another reason for NDSU to be proud...

I think the QB from Memphis that the Broncos drafted has a shot too, but probably a guy that is a couple years out from being an effective starter. Very good athlete at that height.
