Congrats to Daniel Sullivan on the game winning field goal! Kid has over come a lot to get back to this point in his college career. Lots of other things to complain about during this game, but this is a wonderful story, and it really puts things in perspective. It's only a game.

Nice post and so true.

Yeah, to us that seemed like pressure.

I doubt much in football stresses Sully out.

Congrats to him!

Our kicking game still needs some consistency.

Earlier this season, one of our kickers (I think Greenberg) kicked a mid 40 yard fg that had plenty of distance, yet knocked off the goal post.

In this game, Sullivan misses a FG with a questionable officials call. (I honestly did not see the complete kick live or on replay, therefore cannot say if it was good or not).

In the earlier game, some poster argued relentlessly that was a good kick even though it turned out to be a miss. His reasoning was because he struck the ball good. Yet in the UND game, another kicker turns out to be miss a FG, also with plenty of distance, and that kicker is being questioned?

As for Sullivan, I am glad he came through to get the game winning FG.

way to save the day Dan! You the man!

Had he made a short FG or extra point, he wouldn't have had to save the day.
He did make the first FG

I would hope that the refs had the best view and saw what we didn't see.......then again there was that hit on JJ after the play was whistled dead.

Greenberg made 2 short FG's in one game. Then in the next game missed a well struck 46 yarder that hit the right upright. Then missed a poorly kicked 40 yarder. In the same game, Lider really missed about a 40 yarder. Sullivan missed an extra point and short FG today. Even if it was very close, it should have been more down the middle from that distance. Think Sullivan made a short FG last week. Glad Sullivan kicked the game winner. Sullivan is good and fairly long on kickoffs. Sullivan is a nice health story. Don't know where that leaves UM on FG kickers. Doesn't matter to me. Just want more consistency on shorter FGs and extra points. Consistency on longer FG's seems like a luxury of the past.
