I disagree. Both teams were really sloppy (though, I suppose you can credit that to great D by both teams) with quite a few mistakes. It felt like someone finally won in spite of themselves. Honestly reminded me of the Cal Poly game from 2015. Only difference was the PSU kicker made a longer field goal. Hats off to him on a great kick under lots of pressure. Clutch.
Ya, that kick was the definition of clutch. Pretty much the most pressure you can have for a kick. Down by 1 so you're not just breaking a tie but know if you miss you lose. Freshman kicker. In the loudest\best stadium in the FCS. Had never beaten um in that stadium. Hadn't won a D1 game since 2016. 52 yards out, against a coach that usually rocks it on special teams, blocked kicks, etc. I would have bet a lot of money that kid was going to miss that kick.
