Morales scores 13 for Lady Griz

MISSOULA - Former Billings West star Mandy Morales tallied 13 points, five rebounds and four assists Thursday, leading the University of Montana women's basketball team to a 70-57 exhibition win over Deja Vu.
Montana jumped out to a 37-22 halftime lead over Deja Vu, a team of former Lady Griz players.
Morales was joined in double figures by Betsy Snead, who had 12 points and four boards; and Johanna Closson, who went 5-for-7 from the field to score 11 points and grab five rebounds.
Sonya Rogers, who went 2-for-4 from 3-point range, added nine points. Morales went 3-for-5 from 3-point range.
Deja Vu placed four players in double figures. The team was led by Skyla Sisco, with 17 points. Katie Edwards added 14, while Julie Deming and Krista (Redpath) Pyron both finished with 10. The rest of the team combined to score just six points.
Jody McLeod led Deja Vu in rebounds with 11.
