In the post-game, Travis confirmed he had two seniors with eligibility remaining, and he didn't do Senior Night for guys with eligibility remaining.

With the way these 2 have played in conference play, I'm excited to see them back. If Vazquez adds muscle and better finishing skills, look out!

Moody, what's not to like in his game and leadership?
As I mentioned in another thread, Moody and Bannan are dedicated to off-season improvements. If rest of the team follows suit, they can accomplish great things!

The Griz are going to be tough out next year.

Playing devil’s advocate here, if you are Bannan, why do you come back? I assume based on what a great student he is, he will likely be graduating no later than summer or close enough where he wouldn’t need to actually take classes at Montana to get a diploma. He has very little left to prove in the Big Sky.

If he does have NBA aspirations, playing professionally in Australia would be a better proving ground than another year of Big Sky competition. Even if the NBA is not an option for him (I don’t see it, but you never know), actually making money in Australia seems preferable to another season playing for free in Missoula and risking injury.

Certainly another season could put him among the all-time greats and he could possibly get a graduate degree which are all very good things for him to consider, but from a professional basketball perspective, I don’t think another year serves him well.

Hopefully, the Griz can use next year and the future of Nap and Money Williams to create some positive momentum again. For a few years there it looked like we could be on a NMSU arc as a perennial mid major power.

Seems like years ago..

Vazquez is about as average as they get. He can not create many open shots off the dribble and doesn't create enough chances while ball-handling. He is only a +6 assists/turnovers which is a horrible percentage for a guard and is only shooting .313 from 3-point land, which is suppose to be his specialty.
Moody has been spectacular in many ways as we all know. That clutch last minute off-balance bank-shot was amazing and he is special complete-player-I have no complaints about his game.

Uh, Vazquez low % is mostly from out of conference games. He's shot better and made clutch plays in conference play. Since conference play, he's been solid in his role. I'm sure most will agree with me.

Yep. Check out some conference game threads. Vazquez has not been spectacular, but he's given the Griz some solid minutes coming off the bench.

He’s finally getting his swag back. Leads the Griz in blocks and steals per minute. You’re wrong on this one. And I said Moody is back if he can afford it. That was the truth.

Yeah, he's 33.7% for the season according to his Stats page (https://gogriz.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/josh-vazquez/6553) from three but if my math is correct he's 26/64 = 40.625% during conference play.
