Monty saga continues?

and a few more facts. the big ten has had four teams in the championship game the past 15 years, but has failed to produce a winner since michigan in 1989. the pac 10 meantime is two for four in championship games the past 15 years.

gb1: i don't get your point. i simply am backing up my original claim that the s.e.c., together with the a.c.c., are the top basketball conferences in the country, an idea some of our football chums can't seem to get through their helmets.
Winners by conference since 1989:

ACC: 1991-1993, 2001-2002, 2005
Big 10: 1989, 2000
Big East: 1999, 2003-2004
Big 12: 2008
SEC: 1994, 1996, 1998, 2006-2007
Pac 10: 1995, 1997
WAC: 1990

As you can see, the ACC and SEC have won 11 of the 20 NCAA titles since 1989. This lends credibility to their arguments as the top conferences, if your measuring stick is the top school in each conference.

WAC 1990? I'm pretty sure UNLV was still in the Big West back in 1990 but, I could be wrong.

Big West is correct. I still remember the 103-73 ass kicking the Rebels laid on the Dukies.
