So it sounds like we still have a shot, depending on how much "you're our #1 guy" means to him over being the backup at Michigan. Honestly, tough call. They've had to have backups play almost as much as we have the last few years, IIRC.

So if he was the 23rd best QB in the portal...where are the Griz on finding one between 15-25? There seem to be plenty...

Edit: What I meant was...where are the cyber stalkers checking those players tweety bird accounts to check DMs and posters, to see who's following who and with what?

i.e. Are any coaches following any other QBs?
 
There are many on this board yapping that Tuttle isn’t very good, so based on that Michigan probably won’t take him either. Makes sense as he was only a 4 star out of high school anyway.
 
Lets look at: Hank Bachmeier, Jay Butterfield, Will Haskell, Chance Nolan. I mean there are plenty out there. Let's go coaches.

What good does a one year wonder do, let's build for the future for a change. Huot could be the guy, Sliter in a few years will see. We seem to do pretty good at building depth at each position other than QB and I know it's tough to keep two very talented QB's on roster especially in this day and age of the transfer portal.
 
I have a feeling we will be heavily relying on the run game. All the top teams have amazing run games and really don't do a whole lote in the passing game. The past is now the future.
