MONTANA - WYOMING 11/14 STREAMING/ Game Thread

Very disappointing game. This was the "easy one" in non conference and Wyoming gave UM every chance.
So, how will they regroup being 0-2?

Lost it on free throws.

why not have the hot hand on the floor at the end of game? He is a freshman, if he takes you then his confidence goes thru the roof , if he misses he will learn but why not play the hot hand at the end? just a question? what do you have to lose by giving the youngster a chance to bring home the game, he kept you in?..

Entertaining game. Pretty solid turn out I thought for the first home game of the season. Sayeed was playing very well, taking the ball hard to the bucket. Wish he had more touches. Rorie had an off night, so did Walter. They both missed some close layups. Also missed free throws really hurt us.

My takeaway from the game is that the future is bright for the Griz, I think we are pretty athletic with lots of scoring threats. We need to clean it up at the end of the game, and take care of the ball and make our free throws.

Where is the outrage? If this were the football board, people would be asking for the coaches head.

Haha ... I was thinking the same. That sounded like an overflow from the failed anger management class on the football board. I thought the griz were pretty amazing, given the youth. We knew we had two brilliant youngsters in Rorie and Pridgett, but it looks like we might be able to add Samuelson to that. Get Oguine back and WW on track and we may have something sooner than we thought, even though the record will probably not show it after the next few games. The payoff will be in the development.

almost afraid to post comments..I respect and enjoy this great coaching staff. I simply had a question. No offense meant, not questioning the effort, not questioning the superior knowledge , simply just wondering out loud. Expect a great season, lots of talent for future, but still just a question lingering or maybe just an opinion..is that okay?

Oh great! Another bad fan. :)

From the audio, it seemed like the Grizz we're going for A good shot or a foul. I can't believe there wasn't a foul called, from the description of the play. I had no video, so can someone give me some insight on the play. By the way, I was listening to the Wyoming audio version.

Legitimate and thoughtful question bear. Occasionally they are tolerated on egriz. :thumb:
