I wonder if any of Hike Glacier's extreme posts and predictions will ever be correct. I suppose it's bound to happen. He's run away with the title of all-time worst football poster/predictor, with all of his many names.

I think it’s going to surprise a lot of folks how good that UND defense is as the season progresses. I’m betting they shut down lots of folks this season. Their front 7 was nasty. I don’t say that to justify the offensive struggles the Griz had. Montana has a ton to work on offensively, and everyone in our defensive secondary not named kyon loud or Micah Harper needs to step up in a big way.
Definitely agree, they are big, physical, and fast. Not an excuse, equally agree our offensive front needs improvement (and I think they will), but UND was tough.

Continuing with silly hypotheticals:
1. If the Griz hadn't left open so many receivers going long early in the game, UND would have scored less.
2. If the Griz hadn't put so much pressure on the UND QB, he would have thrown better.
3. If the UND QB had thrown better, UND would have done better on O and scored more.
4. If the Griz had converted more on 3d downs, they would have done better.
5. If the Griz receivers hadn't dropped so many balls, the O would have probably scored more.
I could go on.

More hypotheticals. Every team that makes the playoffs and wins all of the rest of its games will be the national champion.
Similar to my (and hopefully Hauck's ) goals every year
1. Beat the Scats
2. Win the Conference Title
3. Have Home playoff Games

Funny. This team more than passes the eye test. They look bigger and faster than most recent Griz teams we’ve had. They’ve won both their games. One against what looks like a top half MVFC team.
Interested to hear your opinion to date on what makes them NOT look good?
