Montana WBB hold off SUU for 81-74 win

The game-by-game improvement of the Montana WBB front court is truly fun to watch. Seventeen points from Montana's Hi and Lo posts (Emma Stockholm & Abby Anderson) 17 points on 8-for-10 fg shooting by point McKenzie Johnston, 11 points from wing Gabi Harrington, and ferocious D (3 steals) by Sophia Stiles, with a combined 9 assists from Johnston and Anderson... Still a way to go on D, but they're making big strides every game.

9 different players scored for the Griz!

Yeah, all available players scored. First half, minutes were spread out very evenly among all players except for Johnston. Second half, Shannon stuck with her starters through most of the half except for 2 to 4 minutes for the bench players. Johnston played all 40 minutes. Keep that up, and shannon will have to hope Lady Griz get a bye in the first round of the tournament.

Something has happened to this team, an awakening it's like: hey let's make the ducks, take the ball to the basket, ball to the open player, up tempo ball, tenacious defense, block out/rebound, make free throws! If the 3's improve, watch out! A synergy of sorts, Go LGriz!!

Wrong. Madi Schoening went scoreless against SUU. Everyone else managed to score at least one bucket.

I stand corrected. The initial box score right after the game showed 9 different players scoring. Don't know what changed.

I believe you. I think I noticed the same thing. It also happened in a mens game where initially, Josh Vasquez didn't have any points even though he scored a 3 pointer. This is just the opposite situation where Madi may have been credited with a basket made by some other player but was corrected sometime after. Game trackers aren't always right.
