Montana vs Weber State at 7:05 Radio is on

Good to see Matt Martin back. I'm glad Coach K's head games haven't ruined him, yet. I don't think this team can afford to keep him on the bench like they have the passed several games. With him and Cris in there together, it puts a lot of heat on the perimeter defense and opens the post up alot more. I'll put Martin and some confidence up against anybody in this league when it comes to burrying 3's. My fear is that Larry's quick trigger and pine time is going to destroy this option.
 
It's rare that the griz have the luxery of great depth so I think he's making hay and teaching players to work harder in order to win a starting spot. The problem with this is if a team can shut down Drew, then all of a sudden we're a perimeter team with no starters. I say give a player at least three games to prove he's gone cold.
 
An incredibly disgusting loss. They only good thing that could possibly come from this game is that the team once again has the chance to learn that they can't breeze through games. They have to learn to play with a sense of urgency.

It's getting frustrating watching this team. In conference, they have had at least a 10 point lead at one point during all 8 games. Out of those, they've only won 2 games in a convincing fashion thus far. This team has no killer instinct and plays soft with a lead.

This team has the ability to dominate the Big Sky, but they don't have the desire at this point. It's really as simple as that. If they can establish a work ethic and some consistent intensity, watch out. I hope that this team realizes that come tourney time, its not a switch you can just turn on.
 
That sense of urgency came through about this time last year. An annual thing of peaking at the right time maybe?
 
i hate to say it but i believe killer instinct is provoked by the coach, and you always here larry say, maybe I should have said something different at halftime, Idk, but maybe he goes soft a bit with a lead
