Yup! He was not too pleased with his team's effort, to say the least. I suspect he's more than a little pissed at the refs too. My point about Martin has to do with opening things up inside for Strait some. With no other post player providing a consistent inside threat, it might help to force the opposition to concentrate more on perimeter defense.

There are no stats available. I do know we had about 2o turnovers which was pretty much the dagger. I guess Krysko is not happy with our D tonight, I didnt catch the postgame as I had the msu and the Sac game on.

What game was that?

Actually I know since it was basically the only good game she had since the first game of the season, but many posters wouldn't have a clue what your talking about with that line on Katie.

Lady Griz are a lousy shooting team. Katie is the one that needs to pick it up, but I think her back is bothering her and it affects her shooting like Larry Bird's back bothered him in his last season with Boston Celtics. It could be the game where Katie shot 10 - 15 was possibly the one game her back wasn't bothering her. Now this is the only post I am going to post in a thread for the Men's team.

No worries you arent stepping on anything. I think we shot too damn many threes. If we shot 18 % on those and 34% on the rest of our shots it odesnt take rocket science to see we might have picked up a couple more buckets. any shooter i have been around moves in when they can't hit their long shots, then works their way back out. The thing is we have a lot of kids who can shoot the hell out of it. I think they get a mental block when one of them is off. The other point is Morales can penetrate anytime she wants and usually gets to the free throw line. Just frustrated like everyone else I guess
 
Yes I agree Mandy could draw the foul 4 out of five times but for some reason she is not penetrating as much lately? Not sure why but must be a something shes been told to do. I think they need to remember that she knows how to find her teammates especially the one that she has been playing with since third grade. Give a little faith. . .

NAU won by 2. The chances of the GRIZ hosting the tournament took a hit tonight. Hopefully the GRIZ will swat ISU and NAU will falter at Eastern.

Mandy really is having a tough time in the past 3 games. 19 turnovers in that 3 game period. Started out the second half with 2 quick ones and Robin pulled her out. Mandy may be good, but teams have been able to scout her and know better how to defend her. Because of that, Mandy hasn't been able to drive to the basket. Defenses have been collapsing quicker closing all lanes too quickly for her, also defenders getting more help from other players slow her down. But, She is a freshman and at times today, she looked it. I just wish she didn't dribble the ball so high.

It was nice to watch her work early on when opponents didn't know her. She is known now, and she will need to work harder to get her points.
