Montana vs PSU

Is it wrong to be disappointed with a 7 point conference win?

That just didn't feel...satsifying.

Go figure, I missed Wayne's comments thanks to falling to sleep here.

Everett, you are right. I am sure Wayne will not be kind in post game.

Jordan is a ridiculous 25 of 28 from the line on the year.
He's reminding me, more and more, of Eric Hays. Partly, just the way he moves. He's just getting some play time, but appears to make the most of it, which is what Eric was just starting to do at that point in his career.

Tinks:

Got stuck in mud offensively and settled for bad shots"

Defensively, we brought Andy in to be the enforcer.

We lost some focus, but we found ways to win when not playing our best

I didn't do a good job rotating in. I apologized to the team. We looked a little heavy legged.

But when we're tired physically we can't get tired mentally, and guys turned it over late who normaly don't

KJ came out with maturity in the 2nd half and hopefully he got out of whatever funk he was in.

Regarding getting into Kareem's grill: Bad body language. Our guys know they can't do that and he responded.

Re the roadtrip: Holy smokes, who knows when we'll get back when you look where we're going. We should have some confidence hitting the road.

He better. Cherry is hurting us right now. His timing, shot, and over all offensive mentality? Its really hurting Jamar. Jamar is lost with Cherry on the court. I think the team feels a little out of place right now. They played to many games without him? It will get better, but it hurts to watch. Also: How horrible was it to watch our coach have to yell at the crowd to get it going, and then only half of them did? Good crowd tonight, but these same people yell alot louder at football games in a loss??

Did anyone else notice Tinks PLEADING with the crowd to get up and make some noise on a key defensive possession with about 2:30 to go??

Nuthin. No noise. Nobody stood. Nuthin.

C'mon Missoula. I know you're good, knowledgable sports fans. Make some freakin' noise. College basketball isn't that hard to figure out.

edit: Keena, glad you noticed it as well. That was just sad. And as a guy who was a student in the 80s, rather painful to watch.

Chiverton back-irons a 3-ball at the buzzer that would have won it. Bozo JC hangs on for a 2 point win in OT.

Alot of the noise lies in the fact that many of the loud folks in the 80s are not able to stand and yell for an extended period of time. They need young blood in there to fire up the crowd. Love being a part of it when I can but have only been to one game in the last year.

Didnt know you were that old, ole boy? haha. Yeah its very sad cause we actually put a couple people in the house tonight? All I can say is Way To Go Wayne!! Show these dead beats some fire!!!

I like Will's creating for his team mates. He is trying way too hard to be a scorer though, taking very bad shots. Even fading away on open straight up shots. Most players are not effective fading away, the ball comes off the rim hard, and short. Most of his misses are short too.

Exactly. He hasnt played enough or shot enough this season to even dream about a fade away. And he is forcing everything, even some of the draws that he is getting free throws out of? His defense has been good, but not Cherry great, which is expected after his injury. His assist are up and that is very nice, but this forcing the issue is taking the team out of sink?

(But why do my knees creek so bad?!?!)
Haha  Well the Griz get another win. Any win is a good win! Looks like Weebs kicked some ass tonight? We need to start blowing the compitition out like they are, or we could be left in the dust :thumb:

Corrected that for ya. :o

Yes, any W is a good W.

Yeah, weebs puts up 95 on UND and wins by 32. Welcome to the Big Sky, NoDak.

ISU beating up on UNC was the surpise of the day for me. Southern Utah looks as though they could be a force to be reckoned with at 3-0 after a road beat down of NAU.
