100% incorrect. NDSU certainly accepted the buyout. Who wouldn't. But the game was not attempted to be rescheduled by Montana. It is actually very well documented as to what happened. You are 100% correct on the Oregon game. The justification of a lack of commitment on behalf of Montana was the same situation that Montana State found themselves in during 2013.

Three programs have canceled games against NDSU in the program's history.

Montana State (twice)
Montana
Western Carolina

Not good.....

The other thing besides commitment is the incident that happened at WaGriz. When the Montana fans rushed the field for a regular season opening game between two ranked teams in 2015 (still the only time I've ever personally seen that happen), one of the mouth-breathing Griz fans punched an NDSU player. After that incident, I know Matt Larson was extremely turned off.

All in all, Montana is old news. NDSU has played them 4 times in the D1 era and won 3 of those games. Has been program who offers no upside for NDSU. Been there done that.

Start winning again and the two teams will maybe meet in the playoffs in Missoula.
There is nothing in my statement that is incorrect. It may have been documented otherwise in your local fake newspaper, but I heard it straight from the Montana AD's mouth, who had to scrap together the buyout when in serious financial arears.

You (the Montana AD) reneged on a game. I understand the reasons why. But you reneged.

No, that game was not attempted to be rescheduled. NDSU later agreed to another home and home.

So how about this. Montana has played NDSU in three regular season games. Twice in Missoula. Once in Fargo.

Your fans and apparently your athletic department, according to some, are the ones begging for the game.

So come to Fargo under a 2 for 1. Then the score is equal.

Your CONSTANT presence on this message board proves this statement to be factually untrue.

Now that’s what you call returning bullshit with some topspin!

I live in Montana and I find it amusing to engage with the fans on this website from time to time.

We're not begging for anything from NDSU. How long are you going to whine?

Not insecure about anything.

You are the one who simply can't handle anything and everything when NDSU is mentioned and are living in the past.

see you there

Bismarck is tops in lots of viruses #Herpesnation

You know, I wasn’t going to ever bring it up? I’m glad someone did. What the hell is it with North Dakota and herpes? I know it’s over 50%, and I’ve heard unofficial studies from 20-somethings that suggest it’s even higher in the wild.

Well Montana has this to hang it's hat on.
Guess you need it if your going to live in "treasure state".
It must be how Montana got it's nickname.

Does anyone have the hard data on the herpes in NoDak? Why do they have so many cases? Does it have anything to do with their mating ritual where they smear themselves in duck butter and roll around in tents?

CDC has the data in possession, but I'm under the impression it's not being released so as to not incite fear among the general public. It's a big number. My guesstimation is it'll take a FOI request and a dream team attorney crew to get the truth out.

One thing to consider: if the blisterlip curve in NoDak isn't flattened by mid-October we could lose spring football.

That’s exactly what I’m afraid of. If those fats cost us a whole season, I think they will have a tough time getting any OOC action in the future. It won’t make much difference for the Bizon, because they are already afraid of playing anybody OOC. But the flagship UND could lose some opportunities. They have to get the herpes under control, but I doubt they will.

Yeah, I think you got more issues in Montana than to worry about North Dakota.
I would have guessed the biggest risk would have included their pet sheep, from Baker to Butte all the way to "sanfranzoola" .
Poor Betsy !!!

The thing about NoDakkers is they are really insecure about the herpes (and everything). They tend not to self-report. It’s an alarming trend. So, the CDC data misses “the sores in the folds” so to speak.
