As usual, this game will come down to the Bison's ability run the ball and control the clock. They'll get their rushing yards and TOP. That's a given. Can the Griz D get a positive turnover margin? They'll need to. Otherwise it will be a repeat of last years performance. Which was sort of close on the scoreboard but still a dominant win by NDSU...

Agreed. They will play the same dull, uninspired brand of football for which they've become known. UNDSU is the Floyd Mayweather of CFB. Before anyone says it, yes, I know they've been effective. They are just boring as shit. Not sure why any QB would want to play there. Then again, I suppose when all of your players are Golden Gopher rejects, it's not too tough to land a decent prospect.

Check out the scores from these games last year. The offense scored a ton. They just do it in a different way than the fancy gimic spread offense of today's college football.

Not sure how watching your team consistently run the ball down your opponents throat and break their will is boring. I can certainly assure you it is not uninspired football when those players went 58-3 the last 4 years and won 4 national championships. The point of playing a football game is to win the game. As a fan, that is what you should want to watch. I agree as an opposing fan, it must be boring to watch your team perform against NDSU. Your team usually has a tough time scoring and can't stop NDSU from marching methodically down the field.

Yeah, it's just a boring brand of football. No getting around that. Not surprising given the region. Not for me. Have fun and thanks for posting on eGriz.com so often!

Don't bother defending yourself against a c@nt who lives on egriz. Take all of this scheme talk and throw it out the f@$^*#g window. It has ALWAYS been about blocking, tackling and HITTING. HITTING is something that is rarely talked about on here, but hey...they didn't play the game. NDSU hit harder than we did last year, and it wasn't marginal. PLAIN and SIMPLE for all of you computer wizards that think "fall camp is in Cupertino". 99% of the time: knock the snot out of the guy lined across from you and victory is waiting. All rescuing minions thinking about piping up? GFY...you're mosquitos off of my windshield... :egriz:

 Fucking thing is an eyesore.
Well, nobody would ever accuse a NoDak of having an ounce of style, that much is certain. I mean, both the flagship school and the Fargo branch play FB in sheds! Think about that for a minute. Sheds.

I get it. You are a fan of Big Sky high scoring offenses that play no defense and are continually shown up when playing non conference teams playing big boy football (I.e. The Missouri Valley). How you could prefer watching that to watching a brand of football which produces championships is beyond me. With that being said, you are a fan of the 5 time National Championship runner up Montana Grizzlies.

I know. I should be more compassionate toward the NoDaks. It's just difficult to do. The state just sucks a hot f***, plain and simple. I think I'd rather be dead in Montana than alive in North Dakota. Two things:

1. All modern browsers have a multi-window/tab function. It's pretty easy to work on a computer all day and stay logged in to see which one of you lard asses wants to pipe up.
2. I'm 32. God help us all if I have to still make fun of you fat f***[*] on eGriz.com at 40.

Have a nice weekend in North Dakota, haha! :thumb: Sorry you are still having trouble with this.
So you sit at work all day with Egriz open on another browse?? Jesus Christ you must have a shitty boring job.
I'm not sure I understand the language you're using, but when you have three monitors, it's not that bad to have eGriz.com running in the background. I can't even comprehend the level of obsession required for a fan of another team to post so often here. Must be because you're a fat f***.
What is with you and your fat obsession? You must be a little weight conscious since you sit on your fat ass all day on front of your three monitors. Not sure if you live in Montana, but if you do, get off your fat ass and enjoy the great outdoor activities that state has to offer. Making fat jokes all day won't help you with your own weight there tubby.

I'm glad you get it. UNDSU FB in the shed just doesn't have the level of excitement that can retain a whole lot of fans.

1. It's an epidemic.
2. I don't live in Montana, and I have a stand up desk. It's pretty rad. http://www.varidesk.com
3. What is it with your eGriz.com obsession? Aren't you a T-Buff fan?

Thanks for posting! :thumb:

Someday they'll upgrade to a Corn Palace type facility.

The inside info is that the big wigs at the Casselton Grange Guild are lobbying the state government to make that happen. Given that the oil money is completely sustainable, and no local economy based on oil has ever gone bust, I think the boys from the Guild stand a pretty good chance.

What are you're thoughts?

http://insidethepylon.com/film-study/film-study-u/offense-film-study-u/2015/08/14/ncaa-film-preview-ndsu-and-montana/

good stuff, ken, thanks
one thing that should be different from last year is we should have better CB and Safety coverage........due to more athleticism and TG having more autonomy should give these defensive backs opportunities to be more aggressive and to force their opponents to play harder instead of just smarter.
hopefully, this should also translate to less softer coverage to add more pressure on their passing game.

this video focused about our LB athleticism...........this year we should be able to include CB's and Safeties in that focus, so we should perform an even stronger on defense.
if Stitts has his offense up to 85% by game time we should be a different offensive team from last year as well.
with this offense ready to play as advertised.....31-27 griz
if not 27-17 ndsu
if both defenses hold the game in check then 17-14 ndsu
our offense and o-line will need to show up as if it was mid-season to compete in this game. it is not how boring ndsu plays, it is how disciplined, fundamentally prepared and how well they are coached to play the opposition that we are experiencing.
we need to come into this game with the same mindset.
i believe we will be more prepared for this game than last year. all things considered.

You are a complete idiot!

I'll take boring but it has produced a 58-3 record and 4 straight titles over the last 4 years. "Old school" smash-mouth football and playing good defense is fun to watch. Keep your fast break spread offense.

Keep up your moronic posting...
