Montana Vs Montana State Lets do it then talk about it !

We're playing well. Matthews is huge again. He's finally getting a chance to show what he can do.

Two ways we lose this game:
a) we shoot ourselves in the foot
b) foul trouble catches up to us

Griz only have 9 turnovers with 10 minutes left in the game. That's a big stat. We have to maintain that pace.
 
True freshman Straight and Martin having big games. Straight 12 pts, Martin 14 pts.

I think Martin has officially atoned for his poor outing in Bozeman.
 
Martin has 14 points, Strait has 12 & Seyfert has 11 so far. Glad that Strait is feeling better now. Matthews, Davis, Strait, Criswell & Martin in the game right now. The 3 guard lineup has worked well for the Griz these past few games. Moss travels, TO cats. 6:23 to play, or 6:43, didn't quite hear that. 60-49 Griz

63-49 Griz now. Matthews just hit a 3 (9 points for Virgil along with 5 rebounds). Kamarr Davis has his 3rd foul now though. 5:50 to go, 63-49. Dissly for the cats just layed it in and got fouled. I think Davis just picked up his 4th foul :( Dissly hits the free throw. 63-52 Griz now.

Matthews (12 points now) just hit a 3 with no time left on the shot clock. Sounds like Martin did a good job finding Matthews with the shot clock running out. 66-52 Griz now. Durham just hit a 3 for the cats. 66-55 Griz.
 
I think we should be ok with Davis on the bench for a while. Seyfert and Strait are having huge games. It sounds like our depth is getting to the Cats tonight.
 
Durham steals from Martin & lays it in, 66-57 Griz. Cats in full court press. Dissly fouls ...someone. Under 4 minutes to go. Dlouhy charges into Dissly, 4th foul on Dlouhy.
 
OK, time to close out this game. We did not put EWU away when we had the chance, and giving this MSU team a chance down the stretch may come back to bite us. 4 minutes of hard-nosed basketball.

With what Krysco has done this season, increasing wins and everything else, do you expect to see the interest in men's basketball improve on campus and around Missoula?
 
I lost the feed as well. I've heard that we're up 10, Strait stripped and then Andrew fouls Durham.

Not to ignore you grizband, but it might be a better time to ask about that later in a different post. It's a little intense with the game right now.

Criswell hits 2 FTs...gets back to the line and misses the first of the bonus. cats have the ball.
