NAU was on a "Griz Hangover". Someone posted a while back that teams that won after winning against UM was something like 8-52. Or something close to that.

Some could look at that Stat and say that the Griz are always highly overrated. Team beats them one week then gets blown out the next week by another team.

Again I'm just thankful for the cats for being able to redeem the reputation for all of Montana by kicking the crap out of NAU. THE MSU REDEMPTION TOUR of cleaning up after the Griz!!

But in spite of a very slow start this season (worst start for the Ags in 40 years, Aggie faithful have seen a team close to turning the corner and playing a complete game on both sides of the field. Fair assessment.
If the Griz get the running game going they win. If they don't it is probably a crap shoot.

Time for the Griz to start showing some consistant wins. With Cal Poly & Eastern coming up, they cannot overlook Davis or take a game off (like @ NAU). This game should not be close, even with Davis' recent win against SUU.

I never used to buy into the "The Griz are not the same team away from Wash/Griz as they are at home" theory. Even though the evidence was there to support it.

But I can't deny it any longer, the Griz are not the same team on the road. Period, Fact, unarguable. Damn that STINGS!

Here's to hoping for a road W this weekend against UC Davis. :oops:
