MONTANA TECH

71-32 GRIZ with just under 8 minutes left. Good to see Weisner hit 3 3's. That will help his confidence as he is trying to find his consistency returning from injury. Time to get Nwosu some significant time. GRIZ have been amazing other than the 1st 12 minutes.
 
WOW, GRIZ are 11-17 from 3. 3feller just hit back to back 3's. GRIZ 84-42 with just under 4 minutes left. Nwosu in the game. I hope he looks to score . He did not look to do anything against ISU.

Other than a slow start, Travis has to be pleased with the outcome. GRIZ are slowly becoming consistent from the perimeter. Back to back great shooting games. Let's hope the GRIZ keep it going rest of this season. Time to beat the cats on Saturday.

1st game with decent minutes for him. He played against ISU, but looked very rusty. Travis just mentioned the better shooting by the team is from turning down okay shots in favor of great shots with an extra pass. He is happy as long as ball movement is consistently good. :thumb:

Thought Weisner hit only 2 3's. One was on the run and floating in the corner. Tough shot. Fouled out in not much over 10 minutes. Good to have him back.

It was a horrible show start, for a dozen minutes. No fire. Tie game. Tech was totally out-planned and playing even with the Griz. Then, the Griz moved ahead and ran away with it. Gregory was good the whole game. Krslovic too. Wasn't really happening for Breunig for awhile, but then he did better. He was rebounding from the start. Dunn had a pretty good game. Got some assists and steals. Bradshaw played well. Had 2 beautiful extra passes for easy 3's for the recipient. 3Feller shot well late.

This is a team that can genuinely play as a team. Except for Nwosu, who hasn't had much time, everyone that starts, starts for a reason. Everyone that comes off the bench, can score and rebound. This is one of the better balanced UM teams I have seen in years.

Breunig and Gregory are the reliable workhorses. As mtgriz pointed out, they are possibly the best pair in the conference. But it is also obvious how DeCuire is working the whole team to feed to Breunig, some fast passing and ball-handling. This is really going to pay off during the season. Krslovic is right in there. Dunn can score points. Bradshaw is making fewer mistakes, and can move nearly as well as Gregory. His confidence is improving. Get Kemp back in there, and ... with each game, the moving parts appear to be moving better together.
 
The Men's game is at 7:00 pm Saturday, against the hapless Cats, allegedly a Montana team. It is supposed to be on gogriz or bigskytv.

LadyGriz is at 2:00 that afternoon, also against the hapless Catwomen. It is also supposed to be on gogriz but I do not see it listed for bigskytv.
