Montana stuns the UCLA crowd

Those few of us at the game knew UM was going to win this game even before it started. The enthusiasm of the Griz during warm ups surprised the UCLA fans nearby. The smallest crowd in memory, sat on their hands, while the students were absent. Still, this score doesn't even come close to telling how this game went..the Griz could have won by 20+ if they didn't miss so many free throws and kept the pressure on. I have never seen a Bruin team so flat..maybe it was the rain or the loss yesterday, but, it was a great night to be a Griz in LA....still smiling.....Cherry is the real deal but Kareem was trying too hard..understandable since many of his old school mates were there. This game, is not indicative of anything, but it sure made an impression on a couple of the kids from Kareem's old high school. Tinks was smart to schedule them this year...it can only help in recruiting the kind of kids who want to get playing time. But, 3pt shooting, foul shooting, and energy level have got to pick up...I love that the Griz have now beaten Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, and now UCLA on their home courts...it will be interesting to see how the Bruins recover against Montana State....
