For those of you who are familiar with Facebook...

Students at the University of Montana are 17th in the nation right now in their bracket success. UM is the only school I recognized on this list.

I think, but I am not sure, that the bracket is weighted for upsets. In other words, you get more points for picking upset. Montana winning could have something to do with this.

The points you get for correct picks increase by round: 1 point for the first round, 2 points for the second round, 4 points for the third round, and 8 points for the fourth round. For each of these rounds, if you pick the favorite to win a game, that's how many points you'll get. However, if you pick the underdog and the lower-seeded team comes through, then we'll multiply the points by the difference between the seeds. The national semifinals are worth 15 points and correctly picking the champion will net you 25 points. The underdog scoring does not apply to the final two rounds.

This just means that we can shoot up the charts if enough of us picked Montana over BC!
