You asked if it was a word. so I looked it up. Do only "Kitty Fans" use google to look things up? Do you use Yahoo or Bing?
I think many simply present things as fact prior to or without investigation. "No night games because barkeeps", "No booze in stadium because bathrooms", etc. It's kinda what we do around here, pal.
