Next week is the biggest game in the history of the rivalry. Let’s break these hooligans down.

QB Lamson - The kid has game. I thought if SFA stopped the run, they were going to give the Cats problems. Lamson threw the ball super well and picked them apart. He obviously runs well. Can’t let his legs beat us.

Dowlers - These guys are the playmakers. Great athletes.
We need good play in our defensive backfield. Loud is game. Lawler is too.
Our receivers can’t tip balls in the air because #5 gonna pick it.

Adam Jones - To me, this guy and Gillman have a lot of similarities in their game. He wants to bust it outside. We gotta hold the edges. I would mention their other running back but the guy is a total idiot. He’ll make some plays but he’ll also do something foolish ✌️.

Cats Oline- Massive group here. Can’t let them control the game.

Cats front 7 on D - It starts with Paul Brott and Eiden IV. These guys are good football players. We can’t allow them to get home with 4. Our OLine needs to step up.

This is a dream game for FCS football. Two of the biggest fanbases get to dance for a trip to Nashville. The Griz need to bring their best to win this thing. I think we have a better football team. If we don’t make mistakes and play good football, we’re going to Nashville.

For whatever reasons the Griz are hitting their stride at the right time while bubcats looked a little vulnerable with Yale two weeks ago.

On another, we need to find a 6'4" possession WR. The kind of guy that can give smaller DBs fits along the sidelines or in the corner of the end zone. Our WRs are studs, but we really have to scheme to get them open.

What’s Brott’s status? I saw him limp off last night and I don’t think he ever returned to the game. That DB as well (spacing on his name) looked like he may have gotten concussed last night.

SFA had open receivers, they just couldn’t catch the ball. Griz had open receivers deep in the Brawl as well. The line needs to give Ah Yat a little more time than last game and the play calling has to be more aggressive. All on the line now. Nothing to hold back.

I agree. 6’4” possession guys that play physically big are tight ends at the FCS level. I see Olson 87 getting snaps & Schafer is obviously our dude. Josh Gale needs to step up. It wouldn’t break my heart to see some more 3 TE sets in the red zone.

Yeah. Cats haven’t been playing well in the playoffs. Lots of mistakes.

Also interesting to see which team is more healthy. Sounds like some Cat players are dinged up possibly. It makes a difference. The Griz defense was missing players in the Brawl. I would like to see both teams at full strength, but that’s unrealistic at this point in the season.
