Montana secondary finally getting on the same page

Strong says in the press conference that it was tough during Valpo game to sit on sidelines and watch the miscommunication going on. I really like Strongs leadership in the backfield and think he gets guys in the right spots when he is out there.
Very interested to see how the defense plays against SSU a read option team whose QB and hurt you with his legs and throw downfield. Will be good work for future games against PSU and MSU

That game now scares me more than the EWU game. :shock:

If everyone thinks your secondary played great in that game, it makes a person wonder how many points UW would have scored if your secondary would have played poorly.

You realize this was #6 FBS team right? Their receiver speed was crazy and the plan was to keep the Husky receivers in front of them. Yes, they still marched down the field as Montana really has no CB that could be put on an island against that speed. (Where is Tru when you need him?)

Stitt made some good points about Browning's play last Saturday. He had about 5-6 seconds to throw when he was back in the pocket, and he used all of them to find a receiver. Our secondary wasn't getting beat, it took time for them to get open, and a lot of times he found them when he broke the pocket.

With no pressure it's tough to hold up against PAC 12 receivers for that long.

This is why I think our secondary did a great job against UW. When I watched the replay, the PAC-12 Network commentators even said the secondary was doing a good job of defending the wide receivers to keep Browning from finding quick targets.
