Montana Scandal

You can't be an Obama supporter...look where our country is with him and the current politicians in DC. If I had my way, every politician in office running this year would be out and then the rest of them in 2014 would be out so we could start over.

Not an Obama supporter but to be honest with you i dont think Republican candidates will be able to dethrone the president... The only guy i like out of the whole group is Ron Paul. He actually stands for what he says but too many people think he too far out there.. :twocents:

The Senate Majority Leader is a Mormon, as is Senator Orrin Hatch, as are untold others who have served in all three branches of government over the years. The president who launched B-52 bombing raids over Hanoi was a Quaker, and the president who coined the phrase "military industrial complex" in a purjorative context was a five star WWII general who oversaw the D-Day invasion.

So what is the point?

No, what is YOUR point??? :o

My point is that I see no point in saying "The Next president of the United States is a Mormon".

So effing what? What does that prove or disprove? Quaker is a pacifist religion but the President who was a Quaker but was a hawk in the Vietnam War obliterating downtown Hanoi, while a former five star general whom everyone said was going to be a major hawk instead steered the Federal budget away from massive defense spending into domestic spending. The Kennedy's spent the holiest days of the year for Catholics screwing like rabbits. We have already have Mormons in the government and they have played a part in delivering us this shining jewel of governance we all enjoy now.

So in the final analysis what freaking possible difference does a president's religion play in the way they govern, and what if it did? Could be any more of a Charley fox trot than we have now.

And religion came up when the libs on this board started responses by insulting the presumptive religion of the thread starter because they identified themselves with BYU.
