You do realize that we have 7 in state kids already committed for 2017? You realize 10 of the 40 new faces in fall ball are MT kids correct? Awesome representation of another idiot and uninformed bobcat fan.

Kyle tweeted that our latest commit, McKenzie Holt, was headed to the cats but flipped because he really liked Stitt, Semore, and Selle. This goes to my point about the Polson boys as well and the fact that our coaches are winning some kids over in the Montana recruiting battles. I am happy with the recruits they're landing

For a time, it appeared that Holt, the son of former NFL player Harry Holt, was headed to Bozeman. He was recruited heavily by former Bobcats assistant Michael Rider before Rob Ash was fired as Montana State's head coach. Since the coaching change the Bobcats' pursuit waned while the Grizzlies' interest picked up.

"He was all set to go to MSU until he met (Montana) coach (Bob) Stitt and coach (Jason) Semore," Koskela said.

Montana began recruiting Holt when he was a sophomore still trying to find his way on the football field. He was then a defensive end witnessing teams running in whatever direction Holt wasn't. He has since become a rangy all-conference middle linebacker who earned an MVP award at the Northwest Elite camp and then decided to forego a trip to Montana State's camp in favor of the Grizzlies' invite.
