I havn't even heard that from MSU fans.

The likely reason we don't hear it from MSU fans is they are winning on a regular basis and they only have two Montanans on their current roster so one can assume that winning is their priority--strange concept!!

I have very seldom heard Cat fans bang this drum unless provoked by a Montana fan. Part of the fun was being able to win continually with pretty much an entire team of Montana girls, but those days are past, which makes the it a meh argument to me. It is great to win with all Montana girl and be able to brag about it, not quite the same to brag about all Montana girls when losing, it is like an "Oh Yeah" rebuttal just trying to make yourself feel better about it.

I think the point is that the LG attendance going forward will be -1 and, based upon past attendance, the reduction of one attendee is statistically insignificant.

It's good data. LG have larger average attendance than Lady Cats. Is that because LG have longtime and aging following that at one time ranked among best in nation? Is it because LG traditionally have more Montana girls on the team than Lady Cats and as a result get larger attendance? Is it because Missoula and the surrounding area still have a larger overall population? Is it because you've traditionally held LG tickets and went to games and as a result your followers also go to games to be cool like you?
