Montana press conference: Griz thrash Weber State

wow ! regarding the post game presser......I would expect disappointment form coach Hill but not in the way he expressed it....like he mentioned on three occasions that so and so were out but give credit to the Griz....then said Griz played great and they played the worst game of the year...maybe just maybe the Griz were the reason of his team's poor play....sounded like a little kid to me...,he wants the Griz in the playoffs, he should be careful what he wishes for imo....I was disappointed in the way he handled the loss....anyway, go Griz !

He didn’t really say anything untrue though. You lose 5 starters and it’s going to impact the game.

You snap the ball off the ground three times and that will usually impact the game as well.

I don’t think it takes everything away from the griz. But no one watched that game and thought Weber played good.

Hauck said very similar things in the presser after the Sac game if I recall?

I thought he responded well, I'm sure he's very disappointed. He gave the Griz huge credit, said they kicked our butts, which we did, and said losing 5 guys was also a result of how hard the Griz were playing.
He's competitive, sure he would like to play us again. If you asked the Griz, I'm sure they want to play Sac again also.

ilovethecats....I do agree that weber did not play well....his attitude was what I noticed as being less than genuine.....webers plan did not work ....to quote Mike Tyson "everyone has a plan until they get hit in the face"....that is what Hill left out regarding the game imo.....

Exactly. I watch all the pressers and plenty of times after losses I have heard both Choate and Hauck give credit, but also talk about how bad they played. And they’re always right.

HAHA we know, most of us we get it, Weebs or any other good team the Griz play turns it over four times, has three bad snaps, and they sucked were sloppy unprepared, ect, ect, and MOST OF ALL overrated! All luck, all the result of a team giving it away. Davis turns it over a bunch and gets FG blocked, as a result of a low snap lol, and the team they did that against is a fast, aggressive, physical defense, motivated by a us against them, no one believes in us, refuse to quit mentality instilled in them by their head coach. LOL. ILTC, Bigsky33, do I have that about right?

And pluuzzeeee don't tell me Griz fans do the same. I saw someone posting over on BN earlier today that Egrizzers were saying Sac. State isn't good?? I want to see proof of that. I haven't heard anyone say that. In fact, I actually have seen that posted on BN on the I hope we play them again thread. That's MSU fans saying it, not Griz fans.

Coach Hill wasn’t about to give the “atmosphere” any credit for the way Weber played. That was one of the better crowds in recent memory and I think the hostile atmosphere was a factor yesterday.

It certainly affected their punt team.

Anytime your QB comes out and is harassing the crowd before the first snap...then you play like crap...you have to atleast admit the crowd was something that played a part of their focus issues

And #17 on his first few catches for first downs. And #91 on his sack of Sneed early in the game.
