Montana plays Texas A&M in NIT

Getting silly. Might be a good opportunity to get some other young guys some experience. Not playing Gregory or weisner until the last 10 seconds will help next year a whole lot.
 
Over now it seems. But they made one strong run and had the lead in the second. Not bad vs the team that took Kentucky to OT.

Fouling already it looks like to send them to the line. Hope this pays off... A&M not a great free throw shooting team. Guy who shoots 52% of course hits them both though.
 
Have completely fallen apart. Missed 3turns into a dunk on the other end then a turnover by the Griz. Damn...ugly finish after coming back to take the lead.
 
3 by Bradshaw after A&M misses a free throw. A&M with a turnover now too. Griz down by 15 still though with 2:30 to go. Griz ball.

Griz could hang with them when they played "lights out" -- but A&M has better, deeper talent. Not totally over yet, but the final score probably won't reflect how well, IMO, the Griz played.
 
Ugh, had a chance to cut it to 12, but instead got an airball on the 3 followed by matador defense on the other end resulting in a dunk for A&M. Down by 17.
 
Offensive rebound by Nwosu, gets it out to Gregory who hits a 3. Gregory fouled on it too. Down to 13 after Gregory hits the free throw.

Almost a steal by Nwosu on the other end too. Good D by the Griz and A&M banks in a freakin 3 at the end of the shot clock....

The Griz had to play well -- which they did at times, but not enough -- and get some luck. They sure didn't get the luck.

Edit: Also, once A&M discovered they could overpower are bigs? inside, they just kept throwing down dunks. Not much you can do about that.
