Montana Needs to Put Maine on the Schedule

We already destroy the UNC Bears like that on a regular basis...no need to go clear to Maine.

My first gameday experience at Washington Grizzly Stadium was in September 2004: Montana Grizzlies vs. Maine Black Bears. QB Craig Ochs and WR Jefferson Heidelberger both had a big second half to give the Griz a 27-20 victory. Holy crap, that was almost 20 years ago. :o

My first gameday experience with Grizzly Football (that I can remember) was at the Old Old Dornblaser wooden stadium by the men's gym at the base of Mt. Sentinel, against New Mexico in 1959 I believe. I know that John Lands caught a long TD pass and that was about all that went right for the Griz that day, but I had a BLAST, and have been a Griz fan ever since. Holy crap, that was almost 64 years ago!!!!!

Maybe not Maine, but it would be cool to get a home-and-home series with a decent CAA school like Delaware or New Hampshire. The Colonial used to hate us and it would be a shame to let that go.

We already did that scenrio. It does nothing for recruiting. Scheduling games with schools in Texas and southern California would benefit the program.

We were at Orono for the 2003 game. Scary to have Jeff Disney at QB. A win was a win the week before the NDSU debacle.

  You make asinine statements like they’re fact.

A) how do you know it did nothing for recruiting? We’ve had several guys from PA, NJ, etc. in the past few years
B) we already have games in Cali, so why schedule more? And who would that be besides conference foes?
C) Why does every game have to “do something” for recruiting?

Who in S. Cal besides CPSLO, which we already do, do you suggest?
