Montana Made Question

So currently we have approx. 32 players on the roster from Montana high schools. We will recruit around 4-5 bringing the total to around 36. Some of them starters and others on the 2-deep. What is a healthy mix before say a "decreasing rate of marginal return?"

Wonder how many posts until this thread sees a "decreasing rate of marginal return?" :coffee:

My guess is 2.

Ok , lets do the math ... hmmmmm just doesnt calculate. It seems the formula needs additional dimensions of the players. How about factors like their physical abilities, mental toughness, team first over me first attitude, etc.. Too hard to calculate now you say ... maybe thats why they still have to play the game.

Perfect..............scratch any normal conversation and put in theft, drugs, and rape.

We have 3 ACT scores........anymore.

My point is the only conversation on E-Griz deals with corruption, scandal, bitchin, moanin. Nothing ever positive on here.(Except Payton's recruiting posts) Maybe this is where the football team really was!
I don't believe that but one surely wouldn't know by reading E-Griz. Conclusion: most people on this site are stupid(not all) but most. Some like to start fights then watch the outcome. Some are flat out assholes. The University of Montana seems to be in turmoil both academically and athletically(football program) yet we keep digging deeper. One thing I learned about being a parent is you always pick up the kids when they fall and dust them off. I've reached in my pocket and did the same for the University(and I can't for the life of me understand Engstrom). Firing Robin pissed me off but I can't let that undermine my love for Missoula. We're gonna be good-on and off the field!
Oh and by the way I understand the dynamics of a good football team. The University's athletic staff is top notch, we have a good coaching staff, and we have a great mixture of players from both inside and outside Montana's borders.
The site should be renamed.................E-Griz The Fictional Truth about Montana Football

Sounds like you've done time in Business School. The percentages have decreased from well over 50% to the current 42%, as the national prominence of Griz football has increased. The higher the aspiration, the lower the in-state percentages have dropped.
