Montana Clocks in at……

I just want to say this...

>>> It's only been TWO GAMES. <<<

We're fine.
Respectfully, I am not sure the Griz are. The defense looks lost and porous. The secondary is definitely vulnerable. The LB’s look lost and tackling is atrocious. Offense. I actually think the offense would be fine if they pick a QB and then call some sensible plays. Offense is on the coaches at this point. I think the offense will be fine. Defense is a HUGE question mark right now. I hope you are right though.

Could not agree more with your opinion.

He is right. Trust the process. Superior athletes. Superior coaches. These guys will get everything cleaned up. Not worried in the least. This team will be a monster come conference play.

Idaho state may only have five drives all game. They better make the most of them.
Unpopular opinion, but I think there is a real chance that ISU beats UND. The fighting hawks will be flying high. ISU has an offense that can really attack the weaknesses on that UND defense in the secondary and Tracy will be getting the ball out quick and Romfo really can’t come back if it becomes a true shootout. I’m sure with UND’s ball control game they will keep the game in check, but if ISU can force a couple stops early or jump out quick like we did I expect the fighting “Hawkins” Bengals to have some better playcalling down the stretch than we did.

This is not a top ten team. They JUST lost to number 24. That should equate to number 25 or less. It was a fluke... but was it? Was it really? I don't think so. They need to cease with the QB and RB by committee, Fire the DC's or heck, bring in anyone of the previous ten years defensive players to coach. They could show TH what a dominant defense looks like.
It was. That’s the weirdest game I’ve ever seen. Fluke.

Not a joke at all. You may want to take a look at ND's TOP, even against Iowa State. The GRIZ only had 3 drives in the second half against them.

Not to nitpick, because it’s almost irrelevant at this point, but they had 4 drives, not 3.

Who said giant killers? They have some very competent coaches, lots of athletes, they played OSU very tough and I don't think North Dakota is very good. I guess were going to

UND top 10? Not. They may lose to ISU this week.
Winner of the week 2 conclusion jumping contest right here, though rightfully you should share the 1st prize with Jim. It's a 6 pack of day old Taco Bell hardshells. Bon appetit.

I don't see why this is such a stretch. We have a lot of things to figure out. I'm confident we will, but right now we are doing a lot of things very poorly. Thankfully we get all of our harder games at home until the last one.
What do you think the Griz have to figure out? What are the “a lot” of things?

Perhaps just semantics, but I don’t think there are lots of things to “figure out”. Some but mostly things to improve.

We win at ND with Bergen. Maybe with Wilson starting and playing more. With a few more stops in 2d half. And a couple less 3 and outs in 2d half. And without 7 or so yards of losses in last set of downs. ND did about the same thing to Iowa St. UM was very good in first half against. ND.

There are many things to improve, but I don’t have any big worries about the team at this point. I can’t tell how good the team can get yet.

Perhaps your view has improved after seeing one more game.

No, that's a good point. And my impression improved after having another day to not be mad anymore lol.

I should've said that we have a lot of things that need fixing, instead of figuring out. It seems they fixed a few of them yesterday, although it's tough to say against a team like that. We didn't look out of place on defense as much, though.

We know what the problems were at UND, and thankfully they're all very correctable. I hope to see continued improvement this coming weekend, too.
