Montana Cal Poly Replay 8 p.m. Pluto.tv

Title says it all -- Pluto.tv is replaying the Montana/Cal Poly game tonight at 8 p.m. Mountain Time.
Whoopie! Will that be the same broadcast that people got "live" -- with nice views of an empty field and/or a jumbo-tron?

I didn't watch it live so I decided to watch the replay and they haven't been showing Griz drives, just Cal Poly and one of the drives they have shown twice. So with all the complaints on the live, the replay is worse.

Edit: now they have shown a Griz drive (but showed 0 2nd quarter Griz drives)

Not exactly. They skipped the empty field. They also skipped most of the Griz scoring drives. However, the band playing the national anthem on the field as well as part of the first quarter was creatively shown in the middle of the fourth quarter. In other words, the original production quality was in no danger of being overshadowed by the replay production quality.

The highlights are probably better to watch than a replay of the game on Pluto.

There is an awesome Seinfeld moment when Buss takes the fumble 80 yards for the TD. As Buss trots into the end zone, the color guy says “That is really a shame.”. He even had the Seinfeld sarcasm intonation to his voice! 😂

Interesting on that "fumble". Never hit the ground, so I would call it a triple option pick 6.

It was nice to see sneed as a pocket passer during this game. he was patient and I was a bit worried he was unable to hang in the pocket just out of sheer desire to run. good job by him

I was confused about why it was called a fumble rather than an interception myself.

The pitch was backward, so not a forward pass, and therefore a fumble, even though it did not hit the ground.

Ah, okay. That makes sense.

Since you are explaining stuff, can you also explain the way the Big Sky officials are enforcing the targeting rule this year? JK

Ms. Mom, if I could explain bsc officiating, I'd be a billionaire consultant.

And you could buy your own sports network and provide all the Griz games free of charge. ;)
