Montana at Weber

Bummer with the loss, but 2 out of 3 on the road the last two weeks is OK. We all knew Weber would be hard to beat at home, they don't lose there often. It was reassuring to see the Griz make a run at them in the 2nd just to see they didn't quit. That happened early in Tinkle's career but his teams have shaken that attitude, thankfully. Can't wait for the next game and a better outcome! Tinkle can get them straightened out. Weber is a good team without Lillard, but with him they can challenge some of the best teams in the country, he makes everyone on their team better.

Weebs is tough and exposed our weakness down low. Gotta give the Griz credit going on that 19-4 run.
I hadn't heard much about that Lollard kid for Weebs but he looks like he could be a player some day.

Certainly not the result we were looking for tonight, but it's only one loss, and this was still a very good road trip. Weebs will not win in Missoula.
The Griz can win the rubber match in Missoula, no doubt, but they need more from Hutch and Ward...Selvig hurts them more against a team like Weber. He is just not quick or aggressive enough and, tonight that cost them. Also, the Griz need to be more quick with their shots...patience is one thing but passing up a clear unopposed shot is something else and tonight, all but Jamarr did that....but, they did not give up and that is all to Montana's good...the rematch will be good....

Yep. And throw in home wins over Eastern and PSU and things aren't so bad. Weebs finishes with 4 of their final 5 games on the road. And like you Peaux I love the fact that the Griz didn't roll over.

He is the top scorer in the country...maybe, not, after tonight..He will always get his point..but I thought Cherry played him well.....good match up...

I watched the game with it muted, due to me not liking the Weber homers, they over do it, and a long phone call. I was thinking I would be wrong about the GRIZ having one "Stinker" game on this road trip. As it turned out, they did have one stinker.

Even if the Weber State was not hitting a lot of crap shots, the GRIZ did not play consistent enough to win it, but it would have been closer. No team will hit that many off balance crap shots very often.

Good W, Weber State. I am sure the GRIZ will take care of business until the rematch, and be in position for the rematch to mean a lot.

UM looked really good at times and awful at times. They could have had a chance to pull out a win without that terrible late first half. Still think they are 2nd best in the league, from what I have seen. Good to see several UM fans at the game. Hope they were treated well. Hope Griz keep winning and the rematch in Missoula means something. As for the announcers, I like Arky but not so much the "old guy". But every opposing fan hates the hometown announcer. They are all homers.

Yes, they are all homers, but some of them (UNC, and Weber State in particular are overboard homers). Mick Holien aside. My favorite Big Sky announcer, by far is Mitch Strohman.

I think you've had 11 beers too many....

 , Sounds like you enjoyed the Ass kicking.

We were up by 23 at one point. Lillard was on a bum foot, & didn't shoot well & 1st team All-Conference Bullinger didn't score at all, not himself yet...., but he will be by the end of Feb.

Hey Purple, ever hear of winning with humility?

Congratulations Weber. You were the concensus #1 pick in the BSC, and you played well tonight. I think you will find Missoula a really difficult road game and Hopefully, you will stumble in one other game.

Weber has a great schedule this year. Griz going to nau on Thurs was pretty cool. We are lucky we don't go to Bozeman on the same weekend as Missoula.there are still 9 games before then though

BTW, I did like what I saw from Weisner. He's going to be pretty great as he starts getting more time. Hope he can bulk up just a bit more.

You Weber doods would know best, but if Lillard wasn't at full speed this game, I feel sorry for the team he fully unleashes on. Seriously, he's got to be the best in the league since Stuckey. I would take Lillard over Stuckey as a college player.

I'd enjoy kicking your ass, but that'd be too easy....

And the GRIZ were without one of their posts, and Selvig was so ill he was taking intravenous fluids prior to the game and OBVIOUSLY he wasn't himself. It was a nice weeeeeeebs win. Enjoy it. You'll be on the other end in Missoula (and again in the BSC finals). But hey, I'm sure weeeebs will represent the BSC well in the CIT tournament.
