Montana at Stanford Pac-12 network

That is UM this year! dribble down the final 26 secs and then turn it over with no good effort to score...I've never seen a team like this. They are all talented but seemingly have no consistent game plan except to pass the ball on the outside and let Oguine penetrate. Not going to win many games...

Down 30-25 at halftime. Rorie having a rough game. 0-6 shooting, 2 points and a turnover. Hopefully he heats up in the 2nd half. Oguine has 11, Moorehead has 5 and no one else has more than 2. That last possession to end the half was pretty damn bad.

Griz bigs in a bit of foul trouble. Besovic with 3, Nicholas, Krslovic, Akoh all with 2 each. Stanford's bigs are pretty damn good. Will be interesting to see how the Griz try to put a stop to that and force Stanfords guards to do something. Stanford's bigs have 22 of their 3 points.

Those open shots missed though are killer. If the Griz hit half of the wide open looks they had that half they'd be easily be up in this game.

Stanford is doing a good job taking Akoh away offensively too. Every time he touches the ball they double team him.

Griz defense keeping them in the game

Stanford up 30-25 at half

How was that not tripping?

Bill Walton drives me nuts with all his babbling
That is so true..the guy babbles....

Walton is a national treasure! Anyway, it's one thing to miss long jumpers but our guys are missing layups. They are playing so damn tight. Come on griz! Loosen up! Have some fun out there!

Walton a treasure??? Well, I guess differences are what makes the world go round...I notice Decuire is always on the floor and maybe he is 'overcoaching"...We know that individually, these guys can score, but as a team, it is frustrating to watch them pass the open 3 opportunity, miss the jumper, almost make it while near the basket...Stanford is not a good PAC 12 team this year and UM is showing them up on defense. I'm not sure, but I think UM is winning on the boards..but can't do anything with the ball after.

Rorie should get his points so hopefully some shots start falling and we get on top of this game

If he can do it in the second half, UM will win.. but 30% is not the mark of a good team.

I was waiting to here Walton slaughter Oguine's name and the man does not dissapoint
Besovic got 3 fouls but he looked good out there IMO
This team just needs to make a couple shots!
I agree GrizLA that Decuire seems to be overcoaching a little bit. Gotta let the players play and get confident

16:50 to go all tied up 34-34. Looking better so far this half. Oguine scoring, Moorehead with a 3 and already caused a couple turnovers. Think Stanford just took a timeout after their last turnover.

Walton's problem is that he is convinced he's a national treasure.

So he believes that every random thought that pops into his head is a unique and valuable insight that must be shared with everyone, regardless of how little it has to do with b-ball. I don't mind a little of it, but not to the extent we get with Walton.

I go to, or watch a game, to enjoy the players, their athleticism, their ability to play together, and so on. And Walton feels like he has to spend a third of the game pontificating about things that have nothing to do with sports.

Wow, Griz battle back to take lead

39-37 on 3 by Moorehead

and he's going to line for possible 4 point play....

but you'd hardly know they made a comeback because these announcers were so busy babbling about other things

Griz up 39-37 after a Moorehead bucket and another Moorehead 3!. He's shooting one after the timeout (was fouled too). 15:30 to go in the game. Moorehead has 10 points in the first 4 1/2 mins tis half.
