Montana at EWU predictions

This could be the best team we've played so far, and they really want to beat us.

EWU - 42
Griz - 35

Sorry, but after seeing the last four games, I don't think this team has what it takes. This is the third game in a row that our offense completely fell flat on its face in the second half.

I'll be rooting for them as hard as I can, and will be super pissed if we lose, but at this point it wouldn't surprise me. They need to show they can make the needed adjustments, and totally haven't at all this year.
 
I can't believe this! Not one of you thinks your team is going to win. Talk about jumping ship geez. You lose to NAU and you now have zero faith or belief that your team can pull out a victory, not even by 1 point??? WEAK!!!

So we all picked that we'd steamroll NAU, and we got called overconfident jackoffs.

Now based on our lack of confidence in our team based on their poor performance, us thinking we might lose on the road to a better team than NAU makes us jackoff bandwagoners who are jumping ship.... :roll:

You are right that the number of fans in seats had nothing to do with it. Though you're way off with the statement "25,000... only to have the team quit on us and give up a TD".

Watch a replay. That was a well scripted play call with perfect execution. NAU had exceptional blocking (I believe on five guys) and a great running back who burned us. There was a missed tackle but nobody "quit" there. Though as you point out 25,000 in the seats or 10,000 in the seats didn't influence the play either.

Never said anything about you be bandwagon fans now did I? Said you were jumping ship on your team because they lost to a team for the first time in how ever long the streak was. I seem to remember this happening with another team, MSU, and yet I'm sure griz fans were still confident going in to playoffs that they could still win several more games. It will be interesting to see what happens after that game if they win. What will griz fans be saying then???

Now there's the confident griz fans i've come to know and dislike the majority of the time. Now can you say the same thing about this weekends game against EWU?
 
We may get waylaid at EWU but you will go down here and I think it will be the game that gets us into the playoffs. Call me an optimist.

Lets see...the strength of this team was supposed to be it's front 7 and it's weakness is supposed to be its secondary. We get run over by NAU and now face a dangerous passing attack! I think the predictions are not that far off. Unless Montana's young secondary has an excellent game and the tough front 7 can get pressure on Padron it could be a long night for UM. They have the talent to win, however, it will take the first quarter 1/2 team from NAU to play all game and the coaches to actually make adjustments for them to squeeze out a win on the used tampon....
 
I just hope the coaches come to reality and make quick and accurate adjustments. We all know who is not performing appropriately for their positions and who needs to "Nut Up". They need to "man up" and make the right decision or get the Heck out of Dodge because Griz Nation doesn't except Mediocre performance. :thumb: In that case, the Griz & Mr. Moore are ready to tear some heads off and get back on the Saddle.

I have no problem with people picking the other team to win. What I do have a problem with is those that go off about how bad we suck and how embarassing the game was and Woe is Me. The team went out and put forth the effort it did and on this day it was not enough. The fans went out and put out an effort and on this day it was not enough. The thing that irritates me is that if you call yourself a Griz fan, then be a Griz fan and accept that sometimes living and dying with a team sometimes means having a few bad days. It's posted all over everything "WE ARE MONTANA". If you are MONTANA, then be Montana. If you are only MONTANA when we win, then go be a cat fan because there are plenty of us that can still say WE ARE MONTANA even after a bad loss. OUT!
 
Well the one stat that really jumps out is turnovers. In four games it is Montana 13, them 5. It is really hard to beat a good team if you give them the ball 3-4 times a game. Kills drives or gives them good field position. Right now our QB can't seem to throw down field and our top running back can't hang on to the ball. This has been a trend all year so far so until they fix it we will lose to the good teams. EWU is a good team this year.

The game against NAU has nothing to do with my prediction this week. EWU is the best team in the conference imho. I don’t see anybody beating them not even when they go on the road to MSU.
