Montana @ App State Predictions

This is a tough one to gauge. We will be without our #1 receiver Sean Price and our starting free safety Jamill Lott due to suspension. We also lost our starting running back Rod Chisholm and starting corner Doug Middleton to injury against ECU.

Jesus. Starting corner? Starting free safety? Starting WR & RB?

That HURTS. :? :? :?

Yeah man, it really stings to lose two key guys long-term in the opener. The two starters getting themselves in trouble is just salt in the wound. :(

No excuses from here, though. The Griz have had their share of personnel issues to overcome as well and we have got to move on. We are young but talented and we will have a great crowd behind us. I expect nothing less than a great game played at a high level on both sides.

BTW It's App State, their fans will get all over you if you call them Appy. Kinda like spelling Griz with two z's.

I had no idea! It won't happen again! :thumb:

Very nervous/excited for this game. Feeling similar to last year going into the cat/GRIZ game, wont be suprised if we lose, but also wont be surprised if we win. Traveling east and winning is hard in any conditions, let alone having to go play @ App State. Like everyone I have great respect for the program and will not be too upset if we lose. Before last week I would have predicted a loss, but after seeing the confidence in McKinney, I feel better about a freshman going into App and bringing back a win. Heres to hoping for a perfect game and bring great hope to this season.

GRIZ - 38

App State - 35

I liked what I saw out of both teams, going to be one hell of a game and I am super excited!! Although I am going to pick App, was very impressed against a way better team.
App 27
Griz 17

35-31 Griz win-can't wait for this game. Many fans have stated that our schedule has been weak over the years and have longed to "move up" a division. This game is a true gem and a historical event in Grizzly football. It is a very, very special event indeed. The last two meetings have been some of the best sporting events I have ever attended. The 09 meeting was the best.......by far, it was just magical. Who knows if or when we will ever play this team again after next season so just enjoy it. College football doesn't get any beter than this GO GRIZ!

the two teams are so smilar in that we are dealing with new people at key positions (qb) and off field challenges as they are...both teams are very young from the sounds of things too....my heart says griz by a field goal, but (objective their home field advantage (just as it would be in missoula) says they sqeak it out,,,i hope i am dead wrong.....go griz !!

Grizz don't stand a chance. Gonna get kicked by Yosef.
