Funding for the $2 million project will come entirely from private support. In June, the Montana Board of Regents approved the project, and now the department is in the process of selecting an architect. Construction on the project will begin in April, once basketball season is complete, and will be ready next fall in time for the 2020-21 basketball season.

Montana is in the home stretch of the fundraising campaign, and is nearly to its $2 million goal to complete the project. Even with great response, Montana is still looking for financial help to bridge the gap and stay on the timeline. Those interested in learning more about donating, including the opportunity to purchase a locker with your name on it, can contact Dan Ingram at (406) 243-6294 or via email.

   Looks awesome--especially without any leering creeps. Only question, do people still play pingpong?

Yeah - it is a pretty popular time passer - especially in the NFL. I want to say there are at least a few teams who have an ongoing ping pong tournament during the season.

It is my understanding that after the Men's Basketball locker room is completed the Women's Basketball and Volleyball locker room upgrade will be next on the list and it will pretty much be a mirror image of the men's locker room.

Yeah, that is mentioned in the article as well - though not the specifics of how it might look.

On the 5th page/slide, you can see the master plan for Dahlberg Arena. LG looks similar but a little smaller if accurately portrayed. Also, looks like less with regards to coaches' areas.

I hope they do the same level of graphics/overhead 3D lighting as the football locker room with the basketball ones. It would be really cool to have the charging grizzly logo as a 3D overhead or in the carpet but that's probably difficult to do.

Sounds perfect for an activity for the football team as they are locked in Dahlberg Arena during the upcoming bye weekend. :thumb:
