Incredible!!!!!! Craziest 2 minutes of football I have ever witnessed at any level. It is crazy uptown now, my son is up there, not sure about Alpha left him at Naranche a while ago

That was the best flippin high school game (prob any level game) I've ever seen in my life. The level of play was high on both teams and the crowd was off the charts! High School football is alive and well in Montana. Congratulations to Bozeman for a great, great battle, and CONGRATULATIONS to the 2012 AA STATE CHAMPION BUTTE HIGH BULLDOGS :!: :!: :!:

The winning 46 yard FG crossed the cross-bar by inches... :shock: ... I had a great view from the 5 yard line. What an electric evening.

IG....It was Capital in 1987. Remember Todd Paffhausen was the QB and Capital could not stop him. Got up 12-0 in the first quarter and the Mac decided to run the ball the rest of the game and lost 14--12 ...in Butte. Tough night. Hard too because Butte lost Russ Allen at RB when Street took out his already repaired knee at practice. Oh, and you can take pride in the concussion...you got it from former Griz Lance Allen. Still is one of the biggest hits I have seen some one take.....

:lol: Thanks, I guess. :thumb: That's what I hear. All I remember is standing on the goal-line, awaiting the kickoff during special teams practice. I remember running up to catch it in the air as it was a little short (don't even rember catching it), and the next thing I remember was the athletic trainer asking me how many fingers I had, we were in the school in his training office. :lol: Lance loved it, and rightfully so! I seen him 3 years ago. Wish I had seen the hit (on film even).

You're right on with everything what happened in 87. I was just wrong in thinking the jerseys were red. Maybe i was just seeig red. :thumb:

I agree. I ranks right up there with the Griz South Dakota St game as a game, when it was over, I couldn't believe what I had just witnessed. What a magical night at Naranche!!!!

I sat near Wayne, Scott, Todd, Josh Paffhausen at the first round playoff game versus Billings Skyview.

The 1991 state championship team got together right before kickoff of this years chipper and ate dinner uptown at the Metals Sports Bar and Grill. A bunch of them sat together in the same endzone that the winning kick went through. How cool!

The day of the champ the radio said that if you were a former letter-winner that you were encouraged to wear your lettermans jacket to the game. So that was pretty fun.

Saw Russ Allen there, from a distance. Is that good BHS reciever (Jon Allen) his son, or is it his nephew? Saw Jim Wonnocot there too, great player, but he ended up at Butte Central.
