Got up 12-0 in the first quarter and the Mac decided to run the ball the rest of the game and lost 14--12 ...in Butte. Tough night. Hard too because Butte lost Russ Allen at RB when Street took out his already repaired knee at practice. Oh, and you can take pride in the concussion...you got it from former Griz Lance Allen. Still is one of the biggest hits I have seen some one take.....
IntuitiveGriz said:That was the best flippin high school game (prob any level game) I've ever seen in my life. The level of play was high on both teams and the crowd was off the charts! High School football is alive and well in Montana. Congratulations to Bozeman for a great, great battle, and CONGRATULATIONS to the 2012 AA STATE CHAMPION BUTTE HIGH BULLDOGS :!: :!: :!:
The winning 46 yard FG crossed the cross-bar by inches... ... I had a great view from the 5 yard line. What an electric evening.
BUTTE
A special team
A special town

 Thanks, I guess. :thumb: That's what I hear. All I remember is standing on the goal-line, awaiting the kickoff during special teams practice. I remember running up to catch it in the air as it was a little short (don't even rember catching it), and the next thing I remember was the athletic trainer asking me how many fingers I had, we were in the school in his training office. Lance loved it, and rightfully so! I seen him 3 years ago. Wish I had seen the hit (on film even).
You're right on with everything what happened in 87. I was just wrong in thinking the jerseys were red. Maybe i was just seeig red. :thumb:
