Griz won a close game helped by a 3 pointer by Bell (his only one of the game) and a dunk by Rosser (drove from top of the free throw line to make the dunk).
Griz were lead by 13 points by Riddle and Horn.
Victor Venters also had a good game with 11 points.
Monte was injured but not seriously. He did do a good job of faking the injury. But he did get back in the game just under 3 minutes in the game making it look like the injury was worse than it really was wearing a sling. Most likely all he received was some bruises.
This game is kind of reverse of previous games. Perimeter game was bad, and inside game was pretty good. Horn made most of his points either posting up or driving to the hoop. Venters best game so far helped inside game quite a bit.
Riddle had his best game of his career. Scored 13 points plus his play at point guard in setting up the offense was good.
Ryan Pederson also had his best game this year, and possibly his career. He did score some points for a change, but finally pulled down some key rebounds.
Griz are now tied for 3rd with Montana State. This victory assured the Griz to be at least 5th place in the tournament. Again, they have a good chance at placing 3rd place. Thing is, they will finish at least as low as they did last year, and who knows what will happen in the tournament. But then, just like last year, they have a chance to make it to third.
