Montana enters game after first quality win of the season vs Northern Arizona Thursday at Flagstaff.

I have to disagree. The win over Weber State was also a quality win. The Griz were down double digits in the second half, they dug down deep to come back and win that game. Without the Weber State win, the NAU win would likely not have occurred.

NAU just beat msu by the way.

Agreed, Griz really need to avoid a letdown after best stretch of the season.

My hope for this game is comfortable victory margin. However, I expect N. CO to keep it within 10. It would be nice to get some more pt for the likes of Vanderjagt, Swift, Staudacher, Sharp, Spurgettis, and Chase. Go get them GRIZ!! Lets get the sweep!!

Definitely, it'd be good to see Stads and Gus get going. Having Dave contribute down the stretch would be incredible.

BTW, I won't be lingering around here tonight, ranting as usual. I'm headed to a play with the girlfriend tonight. First of two missed saturday games, ugh.

Nice win for the Griz...road sweeps aren't easy to get and with a potential ISU loss, right back into this thing!!!

Much needed W, solid games from Hasquet, Strait, Dloughy, Martin, Mayes (Why doesn't he play more often?). Solid defensive effort, great FT shooting, much better FG% defense. This team is really taking care of business of late. They will make a run for BSC title. Now to hoping ISU loses as they are now.

Are the newspaper attendance figures of 1232 for the UM-Northern Colorado game correct? We are asking existing talented athletes and recruits to display their talents in front of 1232 fans?

Capacity is 2941. Good thing we took the crowd out of the game early.

Last time I looked at the Big Sky attendance stats, I believe Northern Colorado, Sac State and Portland State were all averaging fewer than 1,000 fans per game. That's really unfortunate. Heck, most high schools around here draw more than that. At the other end of the spectrum, UM was leading the conference in home bball attendance with just under 4,000 per game, which is also unfortunate.

Montana has the top 2 attendance averages in the Big Sky-The men and the Women. For all the grief we get about our atmosphere and give the re-model etc, we still lead year after year.

Gonzaga plays half of their games in front of 1000 people too. West Coast Conference averages LESS per game than the Big Sky.

The Big Sky ranked 18th out of 31 conferences in attendance in 2004 averaging 2674/game which was the most recent stats I could find. There are a lot of places averaging 1000 or less. PSU averaged 988 that year. College basketball ain't what it use to be.
