MBBALL Money Williams Workout

Terrific for Money.
Wise to get NBA eyes on himself.
I too think, his NBA chances are best at pg. I just don't see him as DeCuire's preferred type of pg. Money is high risk, high reward at pg.

However, if he cuts down on his turnovers, he could see pg time again.
Honestly, with the roster composition, I feel he's more sg than pg this season.
He can facilitate from either.guard position.

It appears that he is in the draft pool and will not be returning to UM at all. Not totally sure, but I believe the deadline for withdrawl has come and gone.

I just looked. The deadline was May 28th. He's gone. Too bad, he is a difference maker.

Agreed. I watch a lot of basketball, both college and NBA, and the difference in shooting ability jumps out at you.

One other thing for Money: Constant movement off the ball. Don’t take any plays off by standing around, either on offense or defense. If you’re on the court, leave it all on the court. With player salaries what they are in the NBA, there’s always some guy ready to out-hustle you, and make a reputation doing so.

Last season he had way too much on his mind and it showed. Hopefully, he can put it temporarily away and concentrate on the game at hand. He has really good potential.

I see your Dillon Jones occasionally with OKC. Not sure he has a future there with all their young talent--and more draft picks in the works--but I definitely think he has a place in the NBA. Good player.

He actually started a couple of games in the regular season, but yeah, there is a lot of good young talent ahead of him on that team. Dillon will find a way to contribute. He is just that kind of hard working player. When he eventually stops playing, he will make an excellent coach. He breaks down video better than most coaches in the game now. He is quite loyal and probably would never ask to be traded.

Movement with a purpose and within the offense. Too often, in today's offenses, players are instructed to maintain an area on the perimeter and be ready to gather and shoot while the play is happening in another area of the court. With my coaching philosophy, it absolutely drives me insane but there is a method to the madness.

Agree with the rest and would add, do the little things (i.e. box out, set the best screens, hustle after loose balls, and get on the floor if necessary, play shutdown defense, make the extra pass when appropriate, and show alpha talent by wanting and taking and making the game winning shot or the shot the team needs to change the momentum/end a drought).
