Mixed Feelings ...

"A win is a win."

I've heard that somewhere before ... and it feels good for the Griz to be 6-3 and still in the hunt. Plus: #6 Richmond, #8 Charleston Southern, #12 Western Illinois, and #15 Youngstown State (teams ahead of UM in the polls) would all like to say "a win is a win" -- but they can't. And right now #14 Cal Poly is on the wrong end of the score, but there's lots of time to go.

But it sure as Hell was not a very satisfying win ... I think most would agree.

On the other hand: Those of us who have followed Griz football for awhile, remember years when it seemed every win was ugly, earning the name "Cardiac Griz" for those teams. Yet they still did well in the playoffs. So, I repeat, "A win is a win."

Team so good it is ranked twice?

He'll yeah mixed feelings. I think chalich is our starter, but then again it was ISU. I think we need a thread for DB criticism now...

Or one that criticizes the O line. Looked like swiss cheese at times. Chalich climbed the pocket and got outside very well. I enjoyed seeing a mobile QB. Not sure if BG would have done better or worse and really I don't care at this juncture. I am left to ponder - CG is a very very good coach, yet the o-line struggles mightily. What is the problem? I can only conclude it is talent, or lack thereof. I believe the O-line is still two years out from being a force to reckon with. Bad recruiting had to occur somewhere in the process.
