Hey E-Grizzers, my son Rocky is playing in some games this Season for the Rams! A great organization. His games are on Saturdays and Sundays.. If you get a chance,, l come out and support the teams, the kids and the volunteer coaches..

What are the leagues now? I heard that Little Griz quit keeping score and a new league was started and LG about died. How young do they get to start? I know LG used to be 5th grade.

It starts with 4th! They teach rugby style tackling! They’re very insistent on no use of helmets! Calling penalties if you use them. No blitzing until 8th grade! Only 5 can rush. Rocky’s in 7th grade, so the plays are getting more plentiful! Not all teams have to use the same play book, and the teams are very event, fairly divided. Not one team gets all the best players, like it was with LG. Rocky’s a running back-both half and full! Plays DE and MLB! Really appreciate this organization!

One more thing. They have playoffs for each age group, and the championship games take place EA Griz. Kids run out of the tunnel and get to play on the big field! A great memory for the kids.
