Missoula woman starts online petition to block Hauck hiring

Remember that primer Hauck would run, teaching women some of the basics of the game? LD must have messed up a drill and she had to run the M.

At the bottom of her petition under reasons for the petition it says “no woman is safe with Bobby Hauck on campus”. To me tha was the most ignorant thing she said... kind of wish you asked her about that statement. Would love to hear her explanation for publicly accusing someone she’s never met of being a danger to women.

Noticed that too. Good article. How uniformed she is was incredibly evident when answerin the question about all the rapes she seems to think happened under Hauck. When asked if she saw the reports of those her answer was basically "I believe I was just told of them" So basically she thinks she remembers hearing gossip about them... Wow.

If anyone after reading your article still thinks that person who started the petition knows what she's talking about they should have their head examined.

In the present climate, neither the Regents nor the new President has much stomach for being accused, however wrongly, of giving short shrift to a group of women complaining about sexual violence. This petition may look baseless to people who follow the facts. But remember, Pat Williams was just as wrong in his remarks, and they carried a lot of weight nonetheless. If Haslam wants Houck, he should make no announcement about it until Christian and the Regents have his back.
