Sweet, finally am moving back to Missoula. Finally got a job offer there I've been waiting for. My schedule will be inconsistent, but can finally take in more GRIZ football and GRIZ basketball again. I'm excited. Will be looking for a rental around Sept 1, if anyone knows anyone with a decent place, affordable rent, etc. Please let me know. Thank you in advance

Glad you have an opportunity to move back to MSLA. As to a "decent place, affordable rent, etc..." I'd suggest you look to Havre, Lewistown, or possibly Big Timber. There may be a few other communities but those three seem likely for a start. Good Luck (and buy a car with great gas mileage). Go Griz

Mods and Chris, can you start a new forum subsection for posters who want to start threads saying what their next job will be and where they will live?

Dude STFU, This thread is totally irrelevant to the Griz and FCS football, therefore its in the perfect place of the dumpster fire called Egriz.

But I do see your point, if they all where in a centralized location it would be much easier for you to keep tabs on posters threating to shoot you at the bike racks after school.

Hey! That's my line! :rip:

Yo, rule. Good news--especially for us info-starved hoops fans. Here's a job idea for you, right there in Missoula. Pays more than $100,000 I think with salary and benefits. You will have to have some public-speaking ability, and make a few speeches every year, but after that, it's a piece of cake: Mayor! We'll put you over the top, easy. But we too want jobs in Missoula:
Citay: Speechifier.
AllWeather: Press Secretary.
Brint: Director of Housing
Hammer: Security.
argh! Minister of Science and Education
GrizGrandma: Public Relations
Silvertip: Historical Society
Az: Mental Health.
Alpha: Bribes
PlayaRep: Ambassador to Bainville

Congrats mtgrizrule!! I've been interested in moving back for over 10 years. Bought a house there but no luck on a somewhat comparable paying job..yet. Keep an eye out for a construction management job for me!! :thumb:

Great post Citay. I think I will decline, but do like your choice of other positions. :thumb:

Tons of constructions companies in the region. If you really want to be back, look beyond the pay and just do it. I wish I had done it later. I am so much happier being home full time. Money has become trivial and very minor. Just have changed my spending to make it work. :thumb:

Are you looking for a project manager position? Or superintendent? Either way, your pay will get cut in half in Montana. Sad, but true.

".....your pay will get cut in half in Montana."

Your stress level may get cut in half too......The other good news is your fishing opportunities are very likely to double or triple. Remember.....it's just all stuff.

Very true about stress. When I worked in the Denver and Omaha areas, I was stressed by the time I got to work. The traffic jams stressed me out that much, being they happened about every day. In MT, I have yet to show up at work already stressed out from traffic. As for fishing, the fishing is much better here than most areas. Speaking of which, I have not fished for way too long. :thumb:

Project Manager is my current job but either would be great! 2 of my 3 kids are still in college so it's very difficult to make a choice to go too far backwards. We make so many trips over there during the year that it almost feels like I live there anyway. Time will eventually fix my problem I think. ;)
