One aspect of Milt’s persuasiveness was once described to me this way: Milt walks into the room with an idea; after some banter, it becomes your idea; by the end of the meeting, it’s the best idea you ever had.

Love it. I never met Mr. Datsopoulos, but my mentor at my first firm who remains my mentor to this day was that way. He made me feel like I came up with everything. Looking back, I know he knew what he was doing all along, and I feel dumb. Many can confirm the last part.
RIP to a guy who seems like he was a good one.
