I would try the Black Iron Grill. Just off the interstate across from the Town Pump. The wings and brisket are fairly good. The buffalo burger is awesome. Sit in the bar, lots of tv's

Both of those options should work. Though I'd watch at the Black Iron Grill as it is much nicer setting.

The Cellar on Main Street is good also. Tell Dennis Liedholt, (the owner) I sent you.
The Montana Bar is also a good option on Main Street.
The Rib and Chop House on Haynes Ave. has a nice bar and the food is very good.

I was devastated to find the Montana Bar no longer serves steaks, they turned the restaurant side into a sports bar, the steaks I had there were legendary.

If you are staying at the Northern, go to Hooligans. It's 1/2 block away on Broadway.

Went there. Griz had the BIG SCREEN and three others. Cats two small screens. Best resolution on a big screen I have ever seen. Lousy outcome but very fun to watch.
