Don’t listen to the teen Hornet fan. He knows nothing. All he does is troll and stalk members of our own forum with sophomoric nonsense (which I jokingly dished back at him above). Thankfully recent site updates included an ignore feature which I’ve put to good use, and will do the same here.

The Hornets are reportedly finalizing a deal with Marion after all.
The Vick rumor was a 2nd recent misstep by Adam Shefter, who been taking a lot of heat for spreading that rumor. Sac State’s admin did speak to Vick, as he was one of many that inquired about the job — including Reggie Bush and Robert Griffin III — but it turns out that he wasn’t in serious consideration. His camp likely just wanted the media attention to help them in their negotiations with Norfolk.

Sacramento State's head football coaching vacancy is being filled by Brennan Marion, who has been the offensive coordinator at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas since 2023.

^^ Considering Marion’s history since 2011, it’s doubtful he’s coaching at SAC for longer than a year or two before moving on. But hopefully he makes a positive impact while he’s there. We shall see.
