Mike Chavez

Who deserves to play college basketball? What are the criteria? Just Chavez or most of the NBA players? Who decides who is clean enough to play ball? Who decides that a guy who rededictes himself should be denied an opportunity to play?

Right now, the odds are against Chavez. But, he might make it. Should we deny him or anyone an opportunity to change their lives and move. He may not be able to do it. Should we deny him the opportunity to try?

I hope Mike goes out and proves all the people against him wrong. He's shown a lot of talent and I wish him the very best.
 
Mike Chavez is one of the best players to ever play h.s. bball in Montana. He'd probably be one of the better players to play at Montana if he could stick around for 4 years. BUt this isn't the NBA where all you have to do is show up every day and play. He's been given yet another chance to prove himself not as a player but as a person. How hard is it to do that? We'll all have to wait and see. It comes down to one word... Discipline. Good luck to Mike.
 
I hope Mike does play this year and play well. On the other hand I have trouble finding reasons why he should be on scholarship. He has had a few chances and I think being given the opportunity to continue to play is reward enough. Everyone has rough times and Mike has had many but deserves everyone's support.

I don't remember ever saying he was??? Hold on let me read it again.....nope definitely never said that. Read the whole post and then learn how to read things in their correct context. How could he possibly be right now? I am looking ahead. I am not sure of the eligibility he has left but I am sure there is an opportunity somewhere down the road for a scholarship and I don't believe one would be warranted. Good day.
 
dlouhy's chunkiness is all around the middle, looked like he had a poor diet this summer consisting mainly of liquid that comes in twelve ounce cans. i guess it isn't entirely bad though because he himself said that his new found girth has allowed him to bang more effectively.

however, he looks like he is about 8 months along.
